im sooo sick of the fics where ppl are exaggeratedly disgusted or exasperated with wx for just showing affection in public and calling them shameless and they're treated as being in the right/reasonable/polite/considerate/'appropriate' or what have you. like there's only so much you can play with canon-typical homophobia before it becomes clear you're just being unironically homophobic. literally there's nothing wrong with kissing in public or expressing affection verbally/physically or yeah even having sex in the woods like that's fine? even if within the setting that's a little shocking you don't have to like, agree with the people being all scandalized. but on the flipside writing them as having zero boundaries and having sex where they know kids could see them is also so creepy can you people just be normal about them they're adults and their judgement isn't that bad
